The objective of the project is to strengthen the media literacy, fact-checking, and digital security capacities and skills of CSOs and representatives of political parties in the lead-up to Armenia’s 2026 parliamentary elections, taking into account that the information environment becomes particularly vulnerable during the pre-election period to foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI), as well as to the impact of AI-generated content.
The main goals and objectives of the project are to enhance the capacities of CSOs and political party representatives in the following areas:
- Understanding the technical and content-related characteristics of foreign influence operations, manipulative interventions, and AI-generated content,
- Applying fact-checking tools to verify and validate information,
- Assessing digital risks and ensuring the protection of accounts and data,
- Responding rapidly to digital incidents.
