Initiative for Media Quality and Resilience։ Next Chapter in Media Empowerment

Period: April 1 2026 – July 31 2028

Donor Organization: European Union, Media Initiatives Center

Implementer: Media Diversity Institute

The project aims to strengthen the capacity and resilience of Armenian media outlets, enabling them to act as trusted, independent, and influential actors for the public.

Within the project, media outlets will receive financial support and capacity-building opportunities, including training on digital security and resilience to hybrid threats. The use of media consumption research findings and legal protection mechanisms will strengthen journalists’ ability to produce high-quality, fact-based analytical and investigative content.

The project will contribute to a more enabling environment for independent media by supporting legislative reforms and the introduction of ethical self-regulation mechanisms. At the same time, by promoting media literacy, the project will help audiences distinguish credible sources from manipulation and navigate a polarized information environment.
